About me

I am the proud mother of four daughters, and I cherish every opportunity to spend time with them. I love the watching the Baltimore Ravens play football. I chose a career in education because I wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. One of my greatest passions is encouraging students to persevere through challenges and never give up on their goals. I believe that determination, resilience, and a positive mindset can help us overcome obstacles and achieve success.

My background

I began my career in education in 2005 and spent 16 years as a classroom teacher. I then served as an assistant administrator at a middle school for four years before stepping into my current role as Head of School at Clarksburg Classical Academy-a position I truly love. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a Master's Degree in Special Education, and certifications in Educational Leadership and Autism.

My hobbies

In my free time, I enjoy golfing with my husband, reading, and spending time with my dog, Raven. Raven always helps me appreciate the simple joys of life.

My motto

"It is what it is." We can't always control our circumstances; we can control how we respond to them. Rather than dwelling on problems or negativity, I believe in focusing on our blessings and moving forward with gratitude.
